Volunteers are an essential aspect of the Wild at Art Festival.

Volunteers are needed for the following positions:
Poster and Passbook Distribution
Distribute Festival Posters, passbooks and/or table tops to businesses, schools, sponsors, and venues. Must have car.
Festival Clerical Work
2 hours per week for 8 weeks (or equivalent). Help with general clerical work at the Festival office during week days between 10am and 4pm. Computer skills (Microsoft Office and Windows) are helpful. Also filing, stuffing envelopes, or similar work.
Festival Program Writer/Editor
2 hours per week for 8 weeks (or equivalent). Help create the Festival program. Computer skills (Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite) a must! May work at home. Strong editing skills!!!
Festival VIP Relations
Distribute press packages, network with local media, and help conduct VIP interpretive tours of the Festival venues to media, government, and other VIP guests. Must be articulate, comfortable with public speaking and have a general understanding of the visual and performing arts.
Workshop Assistant
Help with setup and tear-down. Help artists and performers with set up and tear down. Troubleshoot and liaise with Festival director and operations.
Load In/Load Out Crew
Heavy-lifting crew.
Festival Signage
Setup and tear-down. Must have car.
Exhibition/Gallery Host
Larger exhibits require greeter at the door (positioned at an information table). Must be able to answer Q’s and A’s of Festival. Also provide on-site security.
Information Booth (Main Stage Area)
Larger exhibits require greeter at the door (positioned at an information table). Must be able to answer Q’s and A’s of Festival. Also provide on-site security. Great position for 2 people.
Festival Runners
Cell phone turned on at specified times during the Festival. Must have car and willingness to jump in and help. You may find yourself doing any of the jobs, or running errands, according to need.
Festival Photographers
Festival photographers will be expected to photo document the Festival as much as possible. Some events and venues will have key photo targets identified by the Festival coordinator. Targets include groups on stage, in workshops, and individuals. Must have applied experience, and submit samples for evaluation before being assigned. Must use DIGITAL CAMERA with high resolution setting and turn over CD with high resolution files.
Raffle Ticket Sales & Program Distribution
Throughout the Festival and prior to, we will need individuals to circulate the Festival to sell raffle tickets and distribute programs/passbooks. It would be nice to have these people wearing a big funny hat or have a big sign to draw attention. Outgoing personality a must -- be ready to have Fun!
Ticket Sales and Distribution Coordinator
Sell Festival tickets, and coordinate pre-purchased ticket pick up or delivery. Also seek and coordinate local businesses to sell tickets. Must be mature and good with money.
Ticket takers
For paid events, volunteers will be required to take tickets, count attendees, manage cash box, and act as security. Always team of two positioned at the door for security.
Parking, Transportation, Shuttle
Direct traffic and parking, help with VIP shuttles and transportation to core venues.
Volunteer Coordinator Assistant
Provide assistance to volunteer coordinator prior to and during the Festival. Help volunteers ‘check in’ at the main information booth or head office. Answer questions. Hand out t-shirts or pinnies. Manage no-shows and liaise with Volunteer Coordinator and Festival Director during prime time events.
