At a young age of 12 years, Jocelyn is a fiddle player with outstanding talent! Having developed musicianship well beyong her years, she performs a full repertoire of fun and lively Celtic music!
First inspired by driving Cape Breton fiddle music only a few years ago (July 2003), Jocelyn now enjoys herown arrangements of traditional and contemporary Canadian Scottish, and Irish tunes.
With fiddle, dance, and song, she averages 75 shows per year, leading The Jocelyn Band with parents and family friend and performing with The Jocelyn Trio, the Vancouver Scottish Fiddles and the North Shore Celtic Ensemble (orchestral youth group).
Travelling extensively (Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, Washington State, Scotland), music brings Jocelyn to festivals, weddings, and special events as often as possible (including Ottawa/Hull Canada Day Celebration, Owen Sound Celtic Festival, Vancouver CelticFest, BC Highland Games, Whistler Olympics 2010 Countdown, West Vancouver Harmony Arts Festival, Mission Folk Festival, White Rock Spirit-of-the-Sea Festival, and Vancouver BC Early Edition).
